Stoloniferous and thus spreading to form usually sighted clumps or patches.
Starts life as a small, single foliage plant with a few leaves, from a seedling or from spread of a vegetative piece.
Not forming large tuberous roots fit for processing out the plentiful oxalate crystals throughout the tuber and then eating –not this variety.
