Metallic starlings _Aplonis metallica_ – important indigenous social colony–nesting birds . Healthy adults, nesting, well known, in Nauclea orietalis (so called 'Leichhardt tree'), street nature strip tree, of planted origin (local indigenous tree species) . Famous spot for photographing these birds with the tourists guided here by the tour guides. Mossman South, Alchera Drive, nature strip healthy tree, located outside Jehovah's Witnesses building . 2023 December 4th 8:30–8:31 am .
