Metallic starlings _Aplonis metallica_ – important indigenous social colony–nesting birds . Healthy adults, nesting, well known, in a mature _Nauclea orietalis_ (so called 'Leichhardt tree'), street nature strip tree, of planted origin (local indigenous tree species) . Famous spot for photographing these birds with the tourists guided here by the tour guides. Mossman South, Alchera Drive, nature strip healthy tree, location outside Jehovah's Witnesses . 2022 July 20th 5:03–5:09 pm .
