User's notes

Healthy, vigorously growing, sapling with fresh new foliage growth, in a forest canopy gap. With characteristic foliage including attached opposite to the stem, ±heart–shaped (cordate) leaves with long petioles >1/5 the length of the leaves' laminas, hairy leaves top and bottom with pitted glands on the undersides, etcetera. Mossman Gorge long loop track, in one of the bends just before the leaning big strangler fig and big overhand rock, and well before the short rocky steps side track down to Rex Creek . 2017 December 14th 2:04 – 2:12 pm .
