Healthy canopy tree above. Fruiting well this season – many fruits – nuts inside them, on the ground from the canopy above, including many on this long loop track . Fruits (incl. pericarps) and nuts (mesocarps). on the ground from this canopy tree above. Showing the pericarps (loosely speaking: 'outer fruiting shells') of green outside – insides yellow–brown mesocarps (loosely speaking: 'the would be fruits' flesh). Inside these fruits, these the hard (loosely speaking: 'nuts') endocarps within, both ends of these endocarps ('nuts') have hard points, characteristic for this species compared with other trees' species in this wet tropics botanical Laurcaeae plants family. Mossman Gorge long loop track, after the upper Rex creek side track, up the track back section heading up the winding track section, on the way to the ridge, near other defunct track . 2015 March 1st 10:43 am .
