Foliage and a not full grown, partly damaged, fruit,
on the ground from the forest canopy above.
When I sighted and photographed this in 2022 i had unfamiliarity with this canopy vine species, and did not recognise this as it, due to this fruit's damaged form.
My initial perspective was wondering more than recognition, of this as caper fruit and foliage.
Recently as I had more sightings including more parts, of these canopy vines,
i recognised this species .
That was a couple of years after this sighting and photographs.
Initially this sighting made me wonder about, more than recognise, this as a caper plant's fruit and foliage.
This _Capparis_splendidissima_ W.E.Cooper manuscript name, species, i
n PrePrint at this time, soon to get published but not quite yet .
