User's notes

Alien invasive, weed, climbing including up trees, and scrambling, with multiple, large, persistent, tuberous roots similar to *Rumex sagittatus* . Emerging potentially major impactful alien invasive climbing–scrambling weed . At this time flowering and foliage rapid extension growths across the ground and up Casuarina trees, since my last sightings recordings in 2024 Sept. . Now occupying an area over ca. 30+ sq. m. [–50] . In weedy remnants and regrowth wetlands–bushlands area, which retains many kinds of significant ecosystem values . PortSmith area, inland of the corner of Aumuller Street and Ray Jones Drive (main) road, Cairns south–western side . As I GPSed photographed around the whole area this alien invader weed has extended occupation to . Then after these photographs i pulled in down to the ground and crushed it there as much as possible, out of the trees, then photographed the cleaned trees again .
