User's notes

Healthy, multi-trunked, flowering, fruiting and growing, tree(s). I checked the identification by keying out this individual tree in Wilkins and Whitlock (2011a) and reading again and comparing their description of this species, to this plant and to the descriptions of the similar looking and related species in this scholarly journal article. Above the top of Sawmill Rd, of the up-hill side beside the top most lawn area, outside the bus company grounds, Mossman south, Qld 4873, Au. 2023 March 17th 12:14–12:31 pm. Commersonia bartramia (especially compared with Commersonia macrostipulata —both closely related). Different sized stipules provides the initial diagnostic feature to observe, check and photograph, for distinguishing these two species.
