Healthy small tree, well fruiting this season, in the forest middle storey : Fruiting, capsules split open revealing black seeds, with yellow arils (not to confuse with plants in the botanical family Sapindaceae); small tree, beside the raised walkway, rainforest edge, above the north side bank of a sandy rocky creek bed, less shady more light than usual, naturally lack of canopy over head in this creek area. Mossman Gorge, area of last creek before reaching the first point near the main river (where then the short side track goes to the river 'beach') .
