Mossman Gorge, area of the last creek before reaching the first track point with sight of the main river (where then the short side track goes to the river 'beach'). This creek rarely flows except during minor or more flooding.

1:15–20 pm (walked down slightly off track into the creek bed to very carefully and respectfully photograph squatting right down low on the ground and very quietly and slowly;
as a person doing plants survey work in there well known, acknowledged and in interactions (eg. learning culture and starting language, weeds found and notified for removal, etc.) with the local Yalanji Bama traditional owners and knowledge holders, and the local NPWS).
