Lone tree, on the edge of the river bank vegetation;
beside the track that separates this river bank remaining forest from the historically bulldozed forest now cane paddocks .
Possibly an old farm planting for crop trialling .
Officially regarded as an Au indigenous species in the NT at least (aka Au native), but well known and much more common in India —the classical Tropical Indian Sandalwood species – not to get confused with the other Au species naturally more common (or were so) in their respective parts of this continent .
